On Friday 4 October, we were delighted to take our Year 3 hockey players to Bablake for their first-ever fixtures representing the school. The children were absolutely fantastic, looked smart, and were wonderful ambassadors for Warwick Prep throughout. Everyone worked hard during the matches and tried to apply some of the skills we’ve been practising in our morning training sessions. Well done to everyone who took part – we can’t wait to cheer you on in many more matches during your time at Prep.
On Monday, our swimmers took to the pool to compete against Warwick Junior School. The competition was tough across all strokes and age groups but our Year 5 team held their own consistently throughout the gala. A huge well done to the Year 3 girls in their second gala; they have been working hard on their diving and we are very proud of them. The Year 6 girls are focusing intently on their individual times in preparation for their big competitions in the spring. The Year 4 pupils are showing fantastic improvement in their techniques and working hard in their new squad sessions. Well done to all the girls involved!
