U11 Warwick Prep v U12 King’s High School – WCC Round 2 Football
On Monday 12 January, it was a local derby as the U11 Warwick Prep team played the King’s High School U12 team. Prep went into an early lead following a corner. It was a competitive game throughout, with King’s High having the edge in fitness and technical play. Towards the end of the first half and into the second, King’s High converted several opportunities, with the final score finishing 9-1.
U11A-G Netball v Solihull
On Wednesday 14 January, the U11A team faced a tough netball match against a very strong Solihull team. It was a great opportunity to try different combinations and see players from various teams step up and show what they can do! There is plenty to work on ahead of the next match.
The U11C team defended well and made some superb interceptions. Unfortunately, they found it tricky to then get the ball to a goal-scoring opportunity. The girls showed great support to each other and some tried new positions, showing how versatile they could be. Well done, girls!
