U11 Cricket v Bilton Grange
On Wednesday 15 April, three of our U11 cricket teams travelled to Bilton Grange for their first fixture of the season. The girls showed some impressive batting skills, particularly so early in the term. Unfortunately, the rain stopped the matches early and one of our teams were unable to finish their game. Our other two teams just managed to finish before the downpour began and both won. Congratulations to all the girls involved in the fixture who are now eagerly looking forward to the rest of the season.
Sports Stars of the Week
Each week during games lessons, PE staff will identify one child from each year group to receive the Sports Star of the Week award. These will be announced in the following week’s games lesson, displayed on the sports noticeboard and publicised in Squirrel News.

• Year 4: Daisy for showing a good attitude and commitment in Athletics Club and for always giving her best
• Year 5: Ellie for her impressive batting in Games, demonstrating good focus and timing
• Year 6: Sophia B for her excellent performance in the Bilton Grange cricket fixture, representing the school with confidence and skill
