U11 Hockey Midland Finals
On Friday 20 March, the U11s delivered a fantastic performance at the U11 Hockey Midlands FInals and were crowned champions! Competing in eight demanding matches against some of the strongest schools in the region, including large boarding schools with significantly more contact time was a testament to the team’s effort, resilience and determination.
They progressed through the group stage in second place following an unfortunate 1–0 loss to King’s St Albans, despite dominating the game. In the semi-finals, they secured a well-earned victory over Bromsgrove before facing old rivals Solihull in the final. A dominant display and superb team effort saw them claim a 2–0 win and lift the title!
U10 Netball v Crackley Hall
On Monday 23 March, two of our U10 teams took on Crackley Hall, with one team playing the 7-a-side format and the other competing in the 5-a-side Bee Netball format. Both teams secured impressive victories, having worked hard on staying touch-tight in defence and using effective movement to create space and offer for the ball.

U8/U9/U10 Easter Swimming v Warwick Junior School
We held our Easter swimming event on Monday 23 March alongside Warwick Junior School. Pupils were placed into mixed teams across year groups and competed in a range of swimming races, including fun Easter-themed challenges featuring bunny ears and inflatable eggs.
It was a fantastic event, with great enthusiasm and team spirit on display throughout. Well done to all the girls who took part!
U9 Netball v Crackley Hall
Three of our Year 4 netball teams welcomed Crackley Hall for a fixture on Tuesday 24 March. The girls demonstrated excellent teamwork, moving the ball down the court with confidence and precision. This, coupled with some fantastic shooting, meant they secured comfortable victories across both matches.

U11 Netball Festival
On Wednesday 25 March, three of our U11 teams travelled to Akeley Wood School for a netball festival. The girls experienced all weathers – from sleet to sunshine and even hail – which unfortunately brought the festival to an early close.
Despite this, the girls relished the opportunity to play against schools from further afield, winning three of the five matches played. Well done to all who took part, and thank you to the parents who travelled to support.
Sports Stars of the Week
Each week during games lessons, PE staff will identify one child from each year group to receive the Sports Star of the Week award. These will be announced in the following week’s games lesson, displayed on the sports noticeboard and publicised in Squirrel News.
