U10AB Netball
On Monday 24 February, the U10 A and B teams had a successful afternoon against strong Blue Coat School teams. Both teams tried different combinations, with successful pairings across the court. It was great to have two well-matched, high-quality fixtures to work on tactics and skills learnt in lessons and club sessions. Well done, everyone!
U9ABC Netball
On Tuesday 25 February, it was excellent to have three U9 teams out against solid Blue Coat School opposition. There were strong performances across all three matches with some great netball being played.
U11 Netball
On Wednesday 26 February, the U11C netball team were in a very well matched fixture against a strong RGS team. The team were able to stick to task well and pull away for a 9-5 victory at the end of the final quarter. Excellent teamwork and communication by all team members was a key part to their success. All teams from A to H enjoyed fantastic fixtures, with every girl participating and improving their skills and teamwork. Well done!
Sports Stars of the Week
Each week during games lessons, PE staff will identify one child from each year group to receive the Sports Star of the Week award. These will be announced in the following week’s games lesson, displayed on the sports noticeboard and publicised in Squirrel News.

• Year 3: Elizabeth for good use of pivoting when on the ball and excellent movement off the ball to help her teammates in attack!
