U8/U9/U10/U11 Swimming Gala v Bromsgrove
On Tuesday 25 November, a team of girls from Year 3 to Year 6 took part in an away swimming gala against Bromsgrove school. The girls all swam exceptionally well, winning the gala with 170 points to Bromsgrove’s 140. Well done girls and thank you to all spectators who came to support them.
U11 Hockey v RGS The Grange
On Wednesday 26 November, all Year 6 girls were invited to take part in their last hockey fixture of the season. The girls travelled to RGS and showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship across the six teams. Well done girls and a big thank you to all parents who came to support them!
U10 Hockey v Bluecoat
On Thursday 27 November, two Year 5 teams travelled to Blue Coat School to play in a hockey fixture. Both teams showed fantastic enthusiasm on the pitch. They displayed some fantastic defending skills and put lots of pressure on the other team. The matches ended with one draw and one loss for Warwick Prep. Well done to the girls who took part and thank you to the parents who came to show their support.
Sports Stars of the Week
Each week during games lessons, PE staff will identify one child from each year group to receive the Sports Star of the Week award. These will be announced in the following week’s games lesson, displayed on the sports noticeboard and publicised in Squirrel News.
