Central Warwickshire Athletics Championships
On Monday 29 June, thirteen girls from across Warwick Prep travelled to Edmondscote Athletics Track for the Central Warwick Athletics Championships. The girls had qualified to represent Warwick South after competing against schools in the local area. Well done to all the girls who took part and thank you to the parents who came to support.
Congratulations to:
- Stella – Year 5 standing triple jump 2nd place and Year 5 600m 1st place
- Bronte – Year 6 600m 3rd place
- Tara – Year 4 long jump 3rd place and Year 4 50m 3rd place
- Cordelia – Year 3 javelin 1st place
- Freya – Year 4 javelin 2nd place
- Year 5 mixed relay, Stella and Ellie – 2nd place
- Year 6 relay, Alice, Bea, Bronte, Mimi – 2nd place
Sports Stars of the Week
Each week during games lessons, PE staff will identify one child from each year group to receive the Sports Star of the Week award. These will be announced in the following week’s games lesson, displayed on the sports noticeboard and publicised in Squirrel News.

U12 Warwickshire County Netball
Congratulations to the following girls on being selected for the U12 Warwickshire County Netball squad for the 2026/2027 season:
