Progression to Warwick Junior School
The Warwick Schools Foundation offers a complete education for boys and girls from 3-18 years old. Many children join the Foundation by coming to Warwick Prep and stay right through to the completion of their A-levels. Boys and girls leave us at different points during their time at Warwick Prep. Warwick Prep accepts both boys and girls into The Squirrels Nursery from 3 years of age. At the age of 7 (Year 3), the boys progress on to Warwick Junior School. Girls stay with us at Warwick Prep until the age of 11, where they progress to King’s High School.
Receiving an offer
Based on their progress at Warwick Prep, and their aptitude, boys will be offered a place at Warwick Junior School during the Spring Term of Year 2.
It is sometimes the case that boys are offered places on condition that curriculum support lessons are provided on arrival in Year 3. These continue for as long as the Headmaster of the Junior School deems necessary in order to allow the boy to access the curriculum effectively and confidently.
